Rajarajeswari Dental College and Hospital conducted a State Level Inter Dental College Cricket Tournament from 06.06.2022 to 11.06.2022 08 teams participated in the tournament played on Turf of Rajajeswari Medical College and Hospital Cricket Ground in 20×20 format.
The Tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Seetharam, IAS CEO of Rajarajeswari Group of Institutions.
Sri Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Sciences, Bangalore won the cup and Rs. 30,000/- cash prize while Government Dental College, Bangalore took the Runner-up cup and Rs. 20,000/- cash prize.
Cups, prizes and certificates to winners and organizers were presented by Dean and principal on 10.06.2022 at the closing ceremony.
The Tournament provided great opportunity for comradaire among dental institutions.
The Department of Public Health Dentistry, on the occasion of Public Health Dentistry Week June 19-25th 2022 also conducted an art competition at Tattva School, Hosapalya on 24/06/2022 for the students of Higher Primary and High School based on the theme “HEALTHY MOUTH AND HEALTHY LIFE”. Certificates of appreciation were given to the prize winner. A screening camp was also conducted for the students of Lower Primary School.

The Department of Public Health Dentistry, on the occasion of Public Health Dentistry Week June 19-25th 2022 conducted a Debate Competition for the 3rd BDS students. The event received enthusiastic participation from the students. The 2 best prizes for affirmative and 1 best prize for negative stance in the debate was given.
International Yoga Day was organized by RajaRajeswari Dental College & Hospital Bangalore on 24th June 2022, 10.00A.M to 11.00 A.M.
Yoga for dentists was highlighted, Mr. Kathik and his associates conducted, a wonderful program thoroughly enjoyed & benefitted by staff and students.
Program was inaugurated by the welcome address of Principal and felicitation of Yogacharya Sri Karthik Guruji was done.
Following the formal inaugural function, the Dental college magazine “COVAEON’20” AN YEARBOOK OF OUR JOURNEY THROUGH COVID TIMES” was released in the presence of our respected Chairman, Dean, Principal, Chief Guest, faculty members and students.
An interdisciplinary and interdepartmental Continuous Dental Education programme was conducted wherein all speciality postgraduates had presented papers and certificates were awarded respectively.

The program was acknowledged and supported by the management, Dean, Principal and Faculty of RRDCH and was a grand success being an interactive and informative session on Digital dentistry.
The event concluded with an online presentation by Mr. Luis Javier Moral on the “3D Facial Planning”. An in depth explanation on the utilisation of the 3 D software to provide maximum benefits to the patients and to provide the ease of Various treatment modalities in dentistry.
We aspire to learn and grow more by expanding our field of vision and to provide quality health care to the needy in the least economically possible ways.
On the evening of 2nd June 2022 Dr. Andrew, Vice President and Dean of Dental of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow hosted a dinner to Members and Fellows of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow at The Hotel Chancery Pavilion, Bangalore. 50 Medical, Dental and Podiatric Fellows and Members attended the reception. Dr. Andrew speak about the engagement of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow with members and fellows.
We congratulate Dr. Nishta Shetty, Intern for winning Best Paper Award at the U.G. Convention conducted by IAOMR- Karnataka State Branch held on 3rd & 4th June 2022 at Oxford Dental College.
