Course Overview

Prosthodontics is one of the largest department that pertains to the replacement of
missing teeth and associated structures due to congenital and acquired reasons. The
Dental prosthesis not only replaces the missing teeth, but also replaces form and
function of stomatognathic system.

The department is recognized as a PhD centre with in house guides who have over
50 research papers in the academic portfolio with keen analytic mind which helps
them to design and guide a variety of research projects with the team. Our
department has one of the highest publications with 300 + publication from the
faculty, 100 + from the post graduates published in indexed journals like
PUBMED, SCOPUS and Web of sciences. We have few research grants to our
credit from RGUHS University and various associations. Several research projects
are underway.

The students are provided with explicit knowledge and skill to practice dentistry as
their profession after completion of the course.
