Contents: Dental screening camp was conducted by Department of Public Health Dentistry at NIRASHRITHARA PARIHARA KENDRA on 23st May 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Inmates were sensitized on ill effects of tobacco use.
Participants were educated through interactive sessions, and a World No Tobacco Day pledge was administered to all the inmates and caretakers to reinforce commitment towards a tobacco-free lifestyle on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day-Month. Additionally, a signature campaign was conducted.
A total of 25 people were screened. Oral health education and demonstration was provided to the attendees. Appropriate referrals were made to RRDCH for further treatment.
