Oral Hygiene Day celebrations
Oral Hygiene Day [1/08/2015] was celebrated by Rajarajeswari Dental College and Hospital.The Department of Public health Dentistry headed by Dr Padma.K.Bhat, Faculty- Dr Aruna C.N- Professor, Dr Prasanna Kumar YS- Reader, Dr Vasudha Sharma- Reader, Dr C. Santosh Kumar–Senior Lecturer and Postgraduate students from Dept. of Public Health Dentistry distributed free toothpastes and oral health education pamphlets to patients at the OPD of Rajarajeshwari dental college and Hospital. The general public benefitted from program.
The Department of Public health Dentistry also organized a free Oral Health education and Screening camp at Jnanaganga school- Magadi road, Bangalore. A total of 438 students benefitted from the camp.
Various activities were conducted such as:-
- Oral health education talk.
- Distribution of Free Toothpastes and toothbrushes.
- Free Oral Health Check up camp.
The whole program was well received by the students and staff of the school.
