Contents: on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day oral cancer and dental screening and treatment camp was organized by Department of Public Health Dentistry, RRDCHat Ambedkar bhavan, Ramanagara districton 31st May,2024 from 10AM to 4 PM.
Sensitization of general population and of students on ill effects of tobacco use as well as the propaganda of the tobacco company to lure the younger generation towards indulgence in tobacco was rendered and oral cancer screening was done to all tobacco users.
A total of 73 people were screened and 12 were given treatment, and appropriate referrals weremade to RRDCH for further treatment.
