On the occasion of Prosthodontist Day, a Geriatric Awareness Program was organised by Department of prosthodontics on 22nd of January 2025, which aimed at creating awareness about the challenges faced by the elderly population and promoting healthy and active aging. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 70 Elderly Patients, Patient attenders, Staff and Students.
The program commenced with an inaugural address by Dr Rangashree, Intern, who welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted the physical, mental, and social well-being of the elderly in today’s society.
The program was graced by, our beloved Dean Dr Edwin Devadoss, Principal Dr Girish H C, Vice principal Dr Madhumati , PG Director Dr Savitha, Prof & HOD Dr Shwetha Poovani, HOD of Digital Dentistry Dr Gautam Shetty and Prof. Dr Suma from Department of orthodontics.
