Dental Screening, treatment and awareness Camp at Government Hospital, Magadi

Dental screening and treatment camp was conducted by Department of Public Health Dentistry in association with Health and Family welfare association, Bengaluru, South at Government hospital-Magadi on 22nd April 2026.
A total of 106 patients were screened and 24 were treated. Participants were educated on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene practices including regular dental check-ups. Information regarding the harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol on oral health was emphasized. Dietary counseling, focusing on the reduction of sugary food intake and promotion of a balanced diet, was provided. Distribution of Tooth paste and mouth washes was done.
Interactive sessions were conducted to address queries and reinforce preventive oral health measures. Appropriate referrals were made to RRDCH for further treatment.
