Dental Screening Camp at Ramanagara
RRDCH conducting a dental screening and treatment camp at Ramanagara

An oral health awareness and training program for the facilitators of ASHA workers was organized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in association with Department of Public Health Dentistry, RRDCH at District Health Office, Ramanagara on 21st Oct,2022 from 10:00 AM to 3 PM.
Faculty from the department of Public Health Dentistry, Dr. Padma K Bhat, Prof.HOD and Dr. Shweta Somasundara Prof. conducted two sessions of Oral Health Education using Audio-visual aids such as videos, flip charts, demonstration models and interactive sessions.
Importance of identification of common oro-dental diseases, their prevention and referral for preventive procedures was stressed upon. The impact of the training program was evaluated using structured questionnaire which showed that the program was well received by the target audience.
The team of organizers from National Oral Health Program also gave positive feedback about the same.
