World Oral Health Week Celebrations by Dept. of Public Health Dentistry
RRDCH conducting a dental screening and treatment camp at
BMTC Bus stand, Kengeri

An Oral Health awareness program was organized by Department of Public Health Dentistry, RRDCH in association with Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) at Kengeri bus stand and depot on 07-03-2022 from 10.30A.M to 1.00 P.M.
Awareness was provided about the importance of oral health, encouraging the general public to practice oral self care behavior and visit the dentist regularly. Pamphlets were distributed to the general public and BMTC bus drivers and conductors to avail a weeklong free oral health prophylaxis service being offered in the Department Public Health Dentistry, RRDCH.A short film to create awareness about oral health was shown to the BMTC employees in the Mobile dental Van. Mouthwashes were distributed to those with self reported gum problems and tooth decay with instructions for correct usage .Referral mechanisms to enable them to seek dental care at RRDCH was ensured.
