Dental screening and Oral Cancer and treatment camp was conducted by Department of Public Health Dentistry at GEN MOT COIL MANUFACTURING FACTORY on 07th October 2026.
A total of 300 employees were screened and 55 were treated. Participants were educated on oral hygiene practices, regular dental check-ups, and the harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol. Oral cancer screening was conducted, along with awareness regarding its risk factors, early signs,and prevention. Tobacco cessation counselling was provided, and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) was offered. Interactive sessions were conducted to reinforce preventive measures, and participants requiring further care were referred to RRDCH.
