CDE – Decision Making for Implant Placement
Abstract:-
The case services available for the lost permanent teeth, congenitally missing teeth or developmental anomalies like hypodontia are presently inadequate in Pediatric Dentistry. Considering the possibilities of Implant placement to restore esthetics and function in the changing world, Multidisciplinary approach for decision making is an essential part in making the implant dentistry successful. The use of shared decision making has been found to reduce undesirable outcomes and increases patient and clinician satisfaction. A CDE program was conducted by the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry involving faculty presentations from all the departments followed by panel discussion by the subject experts from each department.
