AROGYA MELA at Chikkaballapur
The Department of Public Health Dentistry – RRDCH in association with Directorate of Medical Education (DME) and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW)were invited to be a part of AROGYA MELA – A Mega Medical / Dental and Paramedical checkup and treatment camp organized under the guidance of Dr Sudhakar – Minister of state for Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) at Chikkaballapur on 14th May 2022.
The Arogya mela was inaugurated in the presence of Dr Sudhakar – Minister of state for Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW). The event was presided by dignitaries including Swamiji of BGS mutt, Mr. somashekar Minister of small-scale industry and VIPs.
A team of 12 doctors including faculty (Dr Prasanna Kumar Y S, Professor), post graduate students and interns of Department of Public Health Dentistry – RRDCH, attended the camp. Approximately 175 patients were screened and close to 84 treatments including extraction, fillings and scaling were carried out in Mobile Dental Unit of RRDCH. The program was well received and acknowledged by the beneficiary patients and concerned authorities.
