Anti Ragging Awareness Programme 2023
Anti Ragging Awareness programme for the current year 2022-23 was conducted as per the guidelines of Dental Council on 03.05.2023.
Dr. Shiva Sharan Senate Member of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciencesand Member of Dental Council of India was the Chief Guest and Main Speaker.
The Dean Dr. Edwin Devadoss welcomed and honoured the Chief Guest, Principal Dr. Girish. H. C. welcomed the participants and outlined measures taken at Rajarajeswari Dental College and Hospital to curb the menace of Ragging. The Member of Karnataka State Dental Council and the Professor of Rajarajeswari Dental College and Hospital Dr. Shashi Kumar introduced the Chief Guest to the gathering.
Ragging and the damage it can cause to a student who indulges in Ragging.
The Chief Guest Dr. Shivasharan spoke vividly about incidents reported so far of Ragging in various Institution and how the first act was passed in Tamilnadu against Ragging and later it was adopted by the whole nation.
He urged students not to involve in this barbarous act.
Vote of thanks was given by Anti Ragging Committee Chairman Dr. Balaji.
All the first years, Interns, Seniors and many staff attended the function.
