Contents: The Department of Public Health Dentistry conducted a Dental Screening and Oral Health Education Camp at Universal Group of Institutions on 30th June 2026. A total of 352 students and faculty members were screened for various oral health conditions. The camp was organized as part of the National Public Health Dentist Day celebrations to promote oral health awareness and emphasize the importance of preventive Dental care. Participants were educated on maintaining good oral hygiene practices, including proper tooth-brushing techniques, healthy dietary habits, and the importance of regular dental check-ups for the prevention and early detection of oral diseases. Interactive oral health education sessions were conducted to address participants queries and reinforce preventive oral health measures. Individuals requiring further evaluation and treatment were appropriately referred to Rajarajeswari Dental College and Hospital for comprehensive Dental care.
