Dental Screening, treatment and awareness Camp by Department of Public Health Dentistry

Dental screening and treatment camp was conducted by Department of Public Health Dentistry at Amruth Distilleries on 17th April 2026.
A total of 240 employees were screened and 55 were treated . Participants were educated on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene practices including regular dental check-ups.
Information regarding the harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol on oral health was emphasized. Dietary counseling, focusing on the
reduction of sugary food intake and promotion of a balanced diet, was provided.
Interactive sessions were conducted to address queries and reinforce preventive oral health measures. Appropriate referrals were made to
RRDCH for further treatment.
