Use sugarless mint – Chewing gum or consuming a min does help in cleaning because it produces a lot of salivae that can flush away the left-over food particles and plaque. But, if the gum or mint you consume consists of sugar then it is bound to cause bad breath. Rather use mints and gums that have xylitol which help in fighting bad breath causing bacteria.

Keep a travel oral pack handy – You do get travel oral packs that are small in size. So buy them and keep them handy in your purse so that you can use it whenever you get a chance. A small bottle of mouthwash can also be quite useful to keep mouth germs at bay.

Avoid Sugar based foods – Sugar intake makes the bacteria in the mouth active and they interact with sugar to release a lot of acids that are in turn responsible for bad breath. Fried foods items are also not a good idea as they produce the same result as sugary foods.
