Blood Donation Camp-2015
A Voluntary Blood donation camp was organized and conducted on occasion of Teachers Day – 7th September 2015 by the Department of Public Health Dentistry in association with the extension activities committee headed by Dr.Padma.K.Bhat-Prof and HOD-Department of Public Health Dentistry, Rajarajeshwari Dental College and Hospital.
The associating blood banks in the noble endeavor were:-
1.Blood bank Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital.
2.Lions club of Bangalore South.
A total of 91 units of blood were donated collectively by the volunteers of
1.Rajarajeswari Dental College and Hospital ( Students, Interns and Staff)
2.Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital( Students)
3.A.C.S Engineering College ( Students )
4.Rajarajeswari College of Engineering (Students)
The program was well received and acknowledged by the Management, Dean, Principal and Faculty of RRDC &H. The extension activities committee is grateful to Dr. Anjan.G- Senior lecturer, Dept.of Public Health Dentistry-RRDC & H for his co-ordination in this event. All faculty members of Department of Public Health Dentistry fully co-operated in making this program a grand success.
